As you surely know if you follow us, the new Xiaomi Mi4c that will be presented soon (22 September) will be one of the first smartphones to be equipped with the connector USB Type-C. Although this represents a step towards the massive adoption of this new standard, many would at present have a problem, given that the whole of the micro USB cables that are used for other electronic products would be useless.
Well, in order to meet its users, Xiaomi decided to include, within the Xiaomi Mi4c sales package, a small USB Type-C / micro USB adapter. Although it may represent a bottle neck to the new standard, the uses required in a smartphone will be perfect, making it possible to reuse all the cables we have at home.
We recall that the Xiaomi Mi4c will be produced in limited edition in only 100 thousands of specimens and that there will be several internal configurations for storage and RAM:
- 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage;
- 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage;
- 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
Unfortunately, we do not yet know more about the technical features, such as the type of SoC that the manufacturer will equip in the device. As far as prices are concerned, we speak of a base of 210 euro (at the exchange rate).
