Poco less than a week ago we attended the official presentation of the Xiaomi Mi5, a device whose sales in China have only begun today. Of this smartphone, today we offer you benchmark scores of the base variant, the one with a "downgraded" processor.
Xiaomi Mi5 Standard Edition: The downgrade is there, but it's always a power monster!
The 24 last February we attended the official presentation of the Xiaomi Mi5, smartphone that was presented in three different variants: the Standard, High , Exclusive Edition. The differences between these three variants, as well as memory cuts, lie mainly in the processor, RAM and video card clock frequencies.
In this article I will not list the exact values for each model, the ones that run them , here, but I will show you the Antutu results obtained from the variant Standard characterized by lower clock frequencies.
Before doing this, however, you should remember that variant High, the one with maximum frequencies and which differs from the Exclusive for a "only" GB of RAM less, it has in the same test averaged an average higher than 130.000 points. As if it hides its version of Mi5 "Downgraded"?
The results are not bad! As you can see from the photos in fact, the Mi5 Standard Edition has scored a score of 110.040, far greater than that of about 90.000 points of the Huawei Mate 8 Kirin 950.
I know that a smartphone can not only be judged by the benchmarks, but the one in question has shown that the Mi5 Standard it is not really a device to be discarded a priori, indeed! So who was interested in buying one Xiaomi Mi5 and did not want to spend a lot, it could fall back on this version which, it seems, is highly valid. What do you think of these scores?
