As we all know, Xiaomi is much more than that smartphone. The Chinese brand in fact produces an infinity of products to improve our daily life, among these we have those dedicated to health and beauty. Well, today we have a new device belonging to this category, it is the new Xiaomi Mijia Braun Electric Shaver.
Xiaomi Mijia Braun Electric Shaver presented: German reliability and Xiaomi convenience
The Mijia Braun Electric Shaver is, as already suggested by the images, an electric razor whose retail price will be 249 yuan (32 €), while during the crowdfunding campaign planned starting from 30 its price will drop to 199 yuan (25 €). Obviously the product is currently dedicated only to the Chinese public, but we expect to see it repurposed by third party retailers such as Banggood or Gearbest in the following weeks.
Having said that, let's find out more starting from the design designed by Xiaomi in collaboration with Braun, the famous German manufacturer of small appliances and wellness items. In particular we find two sharp links with "bionic knives" made in Germany. These jerseys integrate 899 sharp tips with a dragonfly-inspired design.
In terms of power, the engine runs at a maximum speed of 7200 rpm, with double independent floating cutting heads, which adapt to the contours of the face. We then have German-made cutting edges coupled with skin-friendly combs for before and after shaving to ensure a perfect shave and say goodbye to the tearing sensation.
As for the battery life instead, the brand communicates an autonomy of 40 minutes, this should be equivalent to 21 days of use on the road without worries (calculation based on 4/3 shaves per week, 3 minutes at a time). In any case, with a 5-minute quick charge we should be able to get a shave, while a full charge takes 1 hour.
Finally, the Xiaomi Mijia Braun Electric Shaver is also waterproof, thus supporting both a dry and wet shave and a simple cleaning with water.
