The giant of Chinese technology Xiaomi just released the Mijia Vertical Learning Lamp, a new smart desk lamp designed to provide uniform, high-brightness light, ideal for studying and working. The lamp was thrown at a initial price of 2199 yuan (about 280 euros).

The lamp uses gods Full spectrum LED, which emit a light close to morning sunlight, with a much reduced blue light peak compared to traditional LEDs. This helps protect your eyes from stress and fatigue caused by artificial blue light.
Furthermore, the lamp adopts a structure triple scattering to uniformly spread the light in multiple directions. The bottom light source is equipped with a bead and a mirror for each LED, which reflect the light onto 144 lenses. The light then passes through a diffusion plate with many astigmatism particles, which further disperse it. Finally, the light passes through a high density microprism plate, which disperses it once again. The result is a homogeneous, anti-glare and non-glaring light.
The lamp also has several smart features, making it easy to use and integrate with other smart devices. The lamp can be controlled via Bluetooth, without needing to touch the lamp pole. Just double click the button to activate the focus mode, which helps children manage their study time.
The lamp is also equipped with a Xiaoai speaker, which allows voice control. You can set up the connection with other smart devices on the Mijia app, to create an automated smart scene where the lights turn on when people arrive.
Another interesting feature of the Mijia Vertical Learning Lamp is the possibility of customize the duration of the on and off gradient via the Mijia app. This allows children's eyes to slowly adapt to changes in light and darkness, avoiding the shock of suddenly turning on the light in the dark.
