Xiaomi, the well-known Chinese manufacturer of smartphones and electronic devices, recently launched its new mini PC, the lo Xiaomi Mini Host 2023. It is a desktop computer of small size, but with high performance, thanks to the use of Intel's NUC solution and a latest generation processor.
Xiaomi Mini Host 2023 released in China: a powerful and compact mini PC
The Xiaomi Mini Host 2023 is the successor to the previous model, the Xiaomi MiniHost, which was released in December last year. Compared to the old model, the new mini PC presents some improvements, especially at the processor level. In fact, the Mini Host 2023 is equipped with a 5th generation Intel Core i1340-13P processor, with 12 cores and 16 threads, and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.6 GHz. This processor guarantees a 10% increase in performance in single-core and 11% in multi-core compared to the i5-1240P processor of the previous model .
The 2023 Mini Host has a volume of approximately 0.44 liters and an integrated CNC aluminum alloy body, which gives it an elegant and robust appearance. The mini PC is also equipped with 16GB dual-channel DDR4 memory and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, which ensure high speed and fluidity. The mini PC is powered by a 100W wall adapter.
One of the strengths of the Xiaomi Mini Host 2023 is the richness and variety of interfaces available. The mini PC indeed offers tthree USB 3.2 interfaces, two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, one HDMI 2.1 interface, one 2.5G network cable interface, one USB 2.0 interface and one 3.5mm headphone interface. These interfaces allow you to easily connect the mini PC to various external devices, such as monitors, keyboards, mice, hard drives, printers, speakers and so on.
The Xiaomi Mini Host 2023 went on sale in China at price of 3.499 yuan, equivalent to about 450 euro. This is a competitive price for a mini PC that offers high performance and compatibility with various devices.
