In 2019, Xiaomi launched the first Portable Air Pump, one of the brand's most successful products, followed by the improved version called Xiaomi Portable Air Pump 1S in 2021. Well, today the Chinese manufacturer has launched the new generation of the portable pump under the name of Xiaomi Portable Air Pump 2.

So let's see the main differences between the Xiaomi Portable Air Pump and the Portable Air Pump 2. As revealed by the brand, some details have been optimized, the internal structure has been improved, increased the inflation speed by about 25%, added an electric scooter mode and a new quick connect nozzle adapter.

In detail, thanks to the new high-power magnetic motor, the Xiaomi Portable Air Pump 2 can fill an empty tire in 8 minutes and can continuously inflate 10 tires when fully charged and can fill two empty tires one after the other.

Xiaomi's pump supports setting the desired air pressure value or selecting a preset mode, one-click inflation and it will stop automatically when finished. In addition, thanks to the air pressure sensor and a digital chip, the tire pressure detection accuracy can reach ±1 psi.

The Portable Air Pump 2 supports a total of six preset modes: the free mode, the bicycle mode, the motorcycle mode, the car mode, the electric scooter mode and the ball mode. The different modes can be switched with a button, and the default air pressure range is limited to avoid over-inflation.

Finally, the portable pump comes with a built-in 2000mAh lithium battery and uses a USB Type-C type charging interface. The body weighs about 490 grams and has a built-in light, which is convenient for you to use it even in the dark.

The Xiaomi Portable Air Pump 2 it will be sold in China at a price of 199 yuan, about 27 euros at the exchange rate.
