Xiaomi opens its 1000th Mi Home in China: great party! | Photo

It is clear how Xiaomi's goal is to expand, not only in Europe and other countries but also in China. One would say that in motherland there would be no need either: it is already known, it already has so much power. Yes, it might be true but if we go and see the number of physical stores, it's not that the brand is doing so well. China has an area about 30 times larger than Italy and yet it has few offline stores: today, by the way, opens its XNUMXth store in Chengdu. Let's see how it's done.

Xiaomi arrives at its thousandth offline store: here is where it is, how it is done and what are the company's expansion plans in China

Today, precisely at 15.30 pm, the 1000th Xiaomi offline store in Chengdu at pavilion 101 of Chengdu MixC Flagship Store. It is a store "soft"and "round". Unlike what we are used to seeing, there are no rectangular and angular tables, but round and with architectures from soft and sinuous lines. But why is this store in Chengdu so important? Because it is a milestone within a much much larger plan communicated a few weeks ago by the brand itself.

We refer to the urge to open a Mi Home, a sort of supermarket of Xiaomi products but with a very cheap design, in every county of China by 2021. This means, as we alluded to in the introduction, the fact that the Chinese giant still has a long way to go in the mother country. Let alone then abroad. In any case, today's date was chosen for a very specific reason: Huawei has opened the same type of store in the same complex. A smart but risky move according to users who are commenting on the new opening with photos and thoughts.
