Smartwatches are now tech gadgets that accompany our daily life and there are different types on the market, with different operating systems but above all with prices ranging from a few tens of euros up to even beyond the 1000 euro threshold. But when you are dealing with a wearable with a really low price, you always think that this is just a whim, but if I told you that with around 30 euros you can take home the AIMIUVEI P58, a smartwatch that allows you to call wrist watches, track your health and sports data with over 110 available activities and much more, would you believe it? All true, I swear and so here I am talking about this wonderful smart wearable in this complete review.

As always, let's start from the contents of the package which in this case offers, in addition to the smartwatch, also an instruction manual, a USB charging cable with a proprietary magnetic attachment but also a blue replacement strap in addition to the already existing black one. mounted on the watch. A detail that should not be underestimated, considering that a quality replacement strap generally costs at least ten euros. In this regard, I emphasize that the standard straps of the AIMIUVEI P58 are well made and adopt an antimicrobial treatment and quick release. Furthermore, even during the most intense phases of perspiration, the material of the buckle does not retain dirt, allowing the skin to breathe well. In short, an enviable comfort, which combined with the low weight of only 45,7 grams, make this smartwatch really pleasant to keep on the wrist: in addition to being very compact, it is in fact also very light and this favors the possibility of keeping it on the wrist even night, relying on the sleep monitor function.
CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS
AIMIUVEI P58 on an aesthetic level does not differ much from other products on the market, but at the same time manages to amaze precisely for the materials used and for having on the right side of the case, an active Apple Watch-style digital crown, one thing truly unique in this price range. Overall, the look appears simple and sober, with a construction made entirely of zinc alloy for the frame and metal structure with CNC machining, thus returning strength and impact resistance in general. On the left profile of the case, we then have the speaker and the microphone, as with this smart watch we can also make and answer calls from the wrist as well as give commands to the voice assistant, Alexa, Google or Siri. The back of the case is instead made of rigid plastic and here are the two magnetic pogo pins for recharging the device and the sensors, whose reliability will be addressed in the following paragraphs. Worth mentioning is the IP68 waterproof certification, allowing the use of the device in the shower, but also for swimming (moreover, a monitorable activity) or running in the rain, without fearing that this will be damaged. In this regard, there is also a function that serves to remove excess water from the speaker and microphone.
DISPLAY
Another point in favor of this AIMIUVEI P58 is the display protected by a superior mineral glass with 2.5D processing. We are talking about a 1,96-inch AMOLED panel wrapped in frames reduced to just 0,3 mm. The rest of the specifications are expressed in a 60 Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color gamut, 600 nits peak brightness and 320 x 386 pixel HD resolution. Despite the AMOLED technology used, the automatic brightness sensor and the Always On Display function are absent, but for the latter I don't make a fuss about it, considering that this only serves to make the battery last less and that often where present it is ineffective under direct sunlight. Instead, the display of this AIMIUVEI P58 is always clearly visible even with backlighting below 50% but above all the contents on the screen are well displayed as well as the touchscreen responds well to the touch, which will allow us to navigate within the interface using a swipe. system. The display can therefore be activated either via the physical button or by rotating the wrist. As already mentioned, unfortunately we do not have an automatic backlight adjustment, but this can be set from the clock settings on 4 different levels, even if the intermediate one eventually manages to satisfy the vision needs in all environmental lighting conditions, also because in the evening we can activate the DND mode which will deactivate the receipt of any notifications as well as deactivating the switching on of the display via gesture.
AUTONOMY
Our AIMIUVEI P58 in terms of autonomy relies on a 230 mAh battery that recharges in about 2 hours, offering in real life, therefore taking advantage of 24/7 heart rate monitoring, receiving notifications on your wrist, using the alarm clock and monitoring of some physical activities, an autonomy that settles from a minimum of 7 days (if you also use the Bluetooth call function) to a maximum of 4 days.
SENSORS AND HEALTH MONITORING
As far as the detection of cardiac activity is concerned, the sensor has proved to be good, first of all because it does not record the beats when not worn on the wrist but above all it has demonstrated good reliability in real-time measurement, reaching the level of a pulse oximeter and / or heart rate monitor. Step counting was also at least reliable, for example not registering false positives while driving in the car. The sensors used also allow you to monitor the SpO2 value, stress and sleep but also blood pressure, although this value seemed to me "fooky", also because not having other dedicated sensors it is practically impossible to monitor this value without dedicated tools.
A mention should be made for the "monitoring" function of the menstrual cycle, dedicated to girls who like to keep track of their most particular and delicate days, thus obtaining notifications on any ovulation period and reminders on the fateful NO days. Then there is the respiratory relaxation function and the possibility of monitoring up to 110 sports including swimming and many with dedicated metrics. Unfortunately, there is no GPS and therefore for a precise track it is necessary to use the companion app on a smartphone. Overall I can't complain about the data collected by this AIMIUVEI P58, which really amazed me with its accuracy and reliability, really allowing you to keep track of health and fitness data as well.
SOFTWARE AND FEATURES
The user interface is quite simple and in Italian, at least it seems so, because to be honest the translation leaves something to be desired so much that, perhaps to encourage you, a certain physical activity is renamed with the name of COGLIONE. Goliardia aside, you move within the interface via swipe, thus accessing the quick toggles, the system menu with all the available functions, the quick functions and finally the notifications, a sore point of this (but almost all smartwatches in circulation) device, since in addition to not being able to respond to them, nor view photos, voice messages or emoticons, we cannot even receive them from all apps including Telegram. The only way to receive them all is to enable the reception of all, absolutely all notifications via the app, including system notifications.
On the positive side, however, we can make and receive calls from the wrist, using a Bluetooth 5.2 (dual type with standard function for connection to the smartphone or with the call function), complete with caller ID, using the microphone and speaker integrated into the smartwatch. I was really amazed by the conversation quality and the good level of volume offered and if necessary we can also use the speaker and microphone to call up the telephone's voice assistant, for example by issuing commands also for home automation. Naturally it is possible to change the watch face, always drawing on the free app store, but we also have the possibility to customize the skin with our photo.
Finally, there are features such as the reminder of drinking water and sedentary lifestyle, stopwatch, timer, weather, remote control of music and camera (only from the native app), set an alarm directly from the clock, torch, find phone, calculator and even the 2048 game to while away minutes if not hours of leisure. Having said that, I liked the graphic interface of the proprietary system of this AIMIUVEI P58 which is not the usual one we generally see on cheap smartwatches. We have a personality and graphics that are also well cared for, with clear icons and also the ability to customize the system menu on 6 different styles.
SUPPORT APPLICATION
We then come to the application to exploit the full potential of this smartwatch, by means of a Bluetooth 5.2 connection, which turns out to be DAFIT, a third-party app compatible with various cheap wearables, although in this case we find a few more functions than the competition. It's not one of the worst I've tried but I found a huge flaw like a house, i.e. the inability to register an account, storing the data collected in a sort of cloud, which will allow us to all the history of what was monitored.
From the application we can view the history of steps, heart rate and sleep, SpO2, stress and much more with excellent reliability as already mentioned poco Before. Positive mention also goes to the sleep monitor, which precisely recognizes the beginning and end of the cycle as well as recognizing when you wake up for example to drink or make needs. However, we can also review the data relating to the monitored sports activities and better customize the AIMIUVEI P58, as well as set goals related to pace, sleep, weight, calories and distance. Also convenient is the function with which to upload personalized QR Codes to be shown if necessary, such as a QR Code that refers to your YouTube channel or Telegram channel.
PROJECTED IMPACT
The price of this smartwatch is decidedly honest: we're talking about an official price of €49,99 which is linked to a coupon offered by the company and redeemable from the Amazon purchase page for 25%, but that's not all because I offer you a further 10% coupon that brings the final price to around 33 euros, but until May 30th. At this price, AIMIUVEI P58 is the smartwatch for everyone: it's beautiful, elegant, well made, well assembled, not too big, not too heavy, but above all full of features including Bluetooth calling and even a game to pass the time away from boredom.
The data monitored are comparable if not better than many fitness trackers that have now reached the price threshold above 50 euros. Of course, it is not comparable to more expensive products, but it offers good battery life, tracks sports activities, has a large, beautiful and easy to read screen, can be customized and costs poco. In conclusion, I would define it as the perfect product to give as a gift or to wear in everyday life.
