As happened for Mi A2 also the little brother Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is updated to the latest major software release of the green robot. In fact, after the Chinese company started the first beta software in these hours the stable version of the Android 9 Pie operating system arrives right on the small Android One branded Xiaomi. The beta test therefore lasted very little, a sign that the development team has worked hard to finally bring a stable and bug-free version.
The screenshot above confirms what has just been said, namely the arrival of Android 9 Pie stable for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, which integrates the latest security patches, updated in November 2018 as well as the features of the operating system, such as navigation gestures, app suggestions based on individual user usage and adaptive battery, all with a weight of 1002,8 MB.
Even Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite receives Android 9 Pie stable
We tell you right away that unfortunately we do not know the release times also for Italy and that probably, as happened for Mi A2, the release for our beautiful country could happen at a distance of qulche day, so do not be alarmed if your device has not yet been updated. It remains to be clarified, finally if the bug related to the support of the second SIM has been resolved or not, and then you will be able to tell us maybe directly in the our Facebook group dedicated to the Xiaomi Android One series.
For the other news of Android 9.0 Pie we remind you:
- support to the notch: automatic and intelligent organization of icons and toggles in the status bar;
- adaptive battery: decrease in consumption and increase in autonomy by adjusting brightness, CPU and applications according to the user's daily use;
- applications like AppTimer o Wind Down: applications through which Google wants to limit the excessive and compulsive use of the smarphone, giving the user an overview of the time of use of the device;
- gesture: probably never reach the iPhone level but Android 9.0 Pie promises an almost total use of the device through swipe in different directions.
downloaded ! Negative. Indeed, if you give me a tip to go back to 8.1.. I'll pay you for the coffee. HI
sorry you can't go back xiaomi has blocked the possibility of doing so and I strongly advise against looking for ways to go back to oreo otherwise you will find yourself a paperweight
Help!!! I have always installed the updates following this guide
https://c.mi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1522059&extra=page%3D1
and now with the installation of android 9.0 I have the cell in bootloop ... I thought I did everything right. I also had magisk 18.0 installed what can I do?
Sorry if it's not the right tread ...
is not yet known anything about the release in Italy?
Released today
As you please? bug? I do not know if to wait before updating.
For the moment I have not noticed anything serious, then it must be said that it was ready since November, so well tested by others
My wifi no longer works. After updating to pie how I choose the network and put the password he saves it but never connects. I did a factory reset, but nothing even now ...
I have the router with secure access based on the MAC.
He behaved just like you.
Then I found that the update changed the wi-fi MAC.
Updated the setting on the router everything works again.
How exactly should I proceed and where do I find the new value to enter to change the network address?
Idem. Same bug
But when will it come? Has anyone received it for official routes in Italy?
No, not yet
Dwa poważne błędy-niedziałające wi fi oraz aparat przy ,, nie przeszkadzać ”.Ktoś się już z tym uporał?
good morning, sorry but some of you have identified problems in using the wifi ?? I noticed that connecting with the wifi at home or at work it has constant reboots. I would like to understand if it is just my problem or if it is a defect that can be solved with the next upgrade
The same problem happened to me too: Recognizing the network (SSID), memorizing it and continuing to make unsuccessful attempts to connect.
It has not yet arrived to me ☹️
It is probably necessary to wait a few more days, as happened for the Mi A2, of which the OTA update has been received after about a week from the official release.
