Thanks to a report from colleagues at Gizmochina we have come to know that Amazfit Band 5, or the counterpart made in Huami of Xiaomi Mi Band 5, has appeared on Amazon UK in presale. This means that it can be easily purchased through the e-commerce portal, even from theEurope. The thing we like to know is that the product will officially arrive on September 30th next, therefore in a specific month.
What are the features distinctive of this smartband? Here are the main ones that we do not find on the Mi Band 5:
- Amazon Alexa integrated: in this exclusive version of Huami (and not Xiaomi) it is possible to interact with Amazon's voice assistant. We will therefore be able to ask questions, ask for translations, set alarms and timers, create shopping lists, check the weather and smart home devices simply by interacting with the smart bracelet;
- SP02: with the new smartband it will be possible to measure oxygen saturation in the blood and understand one's physical state thanks to the proprietary OxygenBeats algorithm. Ideal not only for athletes who practice high intensity training but also for the elderly or people poco active;
- menstruation and ovulation control: with the menstruation monitoring system, Amazfit Band 5 records and predicts the menstrual cycle and sends notifications and reminders to help women control the most intimate moments;
- autonomy: according to what Huami said, with a single charge the smartband has the ability to work for 15 consecutive days with a standard use scenario and 25 in power saving mode.

Unfortunately there is a similarity with the Mi Band 5: it remains absent the NFC chip for contactless payments. Once again, you have to settle for Google Pay via your smartphone, for those who use this service. As for the product you can find it at this link, on store Amazon UK. Clearly this is a pre-order and the price is definitely high as you have to count shipment e various taxes. We await its arrival on Amazon Italy or on similar stores.
