Some time ago we talked about the future production of several smartwatches of Amazfit. Following on from the brand new ones GTR 2 and GTS 2 There will also be Pop, London and a brand new Amazfit GTS 2 Mini. These are devices that, with great probability, will be launched exclusively in China. This at least is what we have thought up to now, at least regarding the last of the three devices. According to the FCC certification, however, it appears that this is the case also arriving in Europe. Consequently the Mini will count on a Global variant. But how will it be done? Here are the first details.
Amazfit GTS 2 Mini will be a sportwatch of the same temper as the standard but without the key features like the ECG: will there be what we want so much though?
Going for a search inside the FCC certifier portal we found that the device Amazfit GTS 2 Mini will soon arrive to us too. Before, we had a simple sketch that showed it without too many details. Within the certification however, we were able to find an image that, albeit in a not very detailed way, tells us something more than the design of the home smartwatch Huami. Let's see together what it is.
In this image we see what the final design of the device. The front panel is as large as that of the standard model but there are some very generous frames. Consequently the idea we had at the beginning was correct: there will be a smaller display. To confirm that the device will also arrive in Europe is CE marking is a mandatory procedure for all products governed by a Community directive, which must be performed by the manufacturer of a product regulated in the European Union.
There are also some details that might escape a quick glance: while the "standard" model is equipped with a side button protected by the metal body (Over and under), this model does not have it. The lateral crown remains uncovered as in the first model. It looks a lot likeAmazfit Bip, but we are sure that it is not the same device… it would make no sense to certify it in Europe.
