Huami Technology has just announced that the much loved one Amazfit GTS from today it will be available in a new version in Titanium, at least in China and with a 1299 Yuan price. The smartwatch adopts the excellent ultra-retina screen of the GTS series set in an even more refined body. In fact we have a case entirely in titanium, while the strap is in a soft fluorinated rubber.

The Amazfit GTS Titanium Edition is the third wearable of the Chinese company with titanium body to be placed on the market, which follows precisely the Amazfit GTR 47mm Titanium Edition and the Amazfit Smart Sports Watch 3 Elite Edition. As you know, the main features of titanium are lightness, high hardness, corrosion resistance and good biocompatibility, among other things. The material is mainly used in the aerospace field, 1 Formula and many other fields, but recently it has become common also on electronic devices such as smartwatches, laptops etc.
As far as the fluorinated rubber strap is concerned, this is not only softer and skin-friendly, but behaves well in daily use thanks to its excellent resistance to dirt. In fact it is a material used in many high-end watches.
All other specifications obviously remain unchanged. We therefore find an 1,65 inch screen of the ultra-retina type AMOLED with a PPI (pixel-per-inch ratio) of 341, a color gamut of 100% NTSC and support for the Always-On mode.
The GTS is also equipped with a PPG optical sensor for bio-tracking and a "bio-data" artificial intelligence system, this will allow us to identify cases of arrhythmia (including atrial fibrillation) and therefore potentially save your life.
We also find 12 traditional sports modes, waterproof up to 5 ATM, GPS + GLONASS double satellite positioning and an NFC module.
Finally, as regards autonomy, the Amazfit GTS can reach 14 days of use in normal mode. In basic mode it reaches 46 days, while when used with all features (including GPS) activated 25 hours are reached.
