After having long rumored about the release of the Mi 10 series and then focusing on what Redmi has to offer us with the Redmi Note 9 series which boasts 3 examples for the European market, the attention now converges on the brand POCO, which for May 12 has set a global launch event. But if we have irrefutable certainties that the X2 model debuted in the market as a rebrand of the Redmi K30 and that we will almost certainly see the launch of POCO F2 as a rebrand of Redmi K30 Pro, an additional smartphone from the Indian company is starting to get talked about in these hours.
An unexpected POCO M2 Pro check on the Xiaomi website
In fact, on the official Indian website of Xiaomi, an unexpected surprise was listed POCO M2 Pro which adds to the debut of Mi 10 in India. One thing that is suspicious, however, is the fact that the model number of POCO M2 Pro, that is M2003J6CI, corresponds to the already known Redmi Note 9 Pro, presented a few days ago in the global market and which in India corresponds to the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (what a confusion).
But why should India accept a smartphone completely identical to the already known Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, the only difference of which is the change of the brand? Apparently the differences will exist on the camera side and slightly in the design, as reported by the leaker Xiaomishka, although the latter does not go into detail of what these differences are.
Something leaks through a tweet, revealing that the smartphone will be driven by the Snapdragon 720G, the same seen on Redmi Note 9 Pro / Pro Max / 9S but also Realme 6 Pro. If this were the case, it would be an 8 nm solution with an octa-core Kryo 465 CPU at 2.3 GHz and an Adreno 618 GPU.

Only time will give us the right answers, which could come very soon as it is curious to note how POCO M2 Pro has been included in the list that marks the presence of the Xiaomi Mi 10, arriving in India on May 8th.
