Many were asking like the Chinese drop torture, “WHEN WILL MIUI 12 BE AVAILABLE FOR MY DEVICE?”. Well, perhaps exhausted by the incestant requests, Xiaomi has finally given the green light to the release of the MIUI 12 in the Global version for the glorious Redmi Note 7, news that moreover comes one day after the debut of the new interface on the older brother Redmi Note 8. It goes However, a very important specification has been made, because the ROM in question is currently designed for Europe and therefore with the wording EU, so if you have ROM Global in MI version in your phone, at the moment you will not receive any OTA notification, but you will have to be patient still a little bit, indeed to be precise, generally from this release at least twenty days pass before the debut on ROM with MI tag.
That said, MIUI 12 for Redmi Note 7 arrives via the firmware version V12.0.2.0.QFGEUXM with a weight of over 2 GB, as Android 10 is also released, while the screenshot you see below has a weight of less than 1 GB as it refers to an OTA for those coming from firmware 11.0.1.0. So Redmi Note 7 users will be able to test all the innovations introduced with the new MIUI 12 as well as the developments represented by the Android 10 operating system. Recall that some new features will not be available, as certainly the Super Wallpaper, unless you follow some guides to be able to install them also on your terminal, although personally I do not recommend it.
Redmi Note 7 also receives its MIUI 12 Global Stable (Link DOWNLOAD)
If you have not received any notification regarding the update to MIUI 12 for Redmi Note 7, you can proceed with the manual download and relative installation. Below you will find the links to proceed with the download:
Being a major update of the OS as well as the system interface, we recommend before proceeding, to make a backup of all your most important data, such as photos and documents, as well as to proceed with at least 50/60% charge residual in the terminal.
Hi, I have updated the redmi note 7 and it no longer accepts me the password to unlock the device. I can enter the data but there is no button to confirm…. ergo I have the cell blocked
And good our Emanuele, who is not a nerd or a geek but is very good at deleting the posts of users who find errors on the site ...
Delete the word GLOBAL from the title go ...
And in the meantime, try to grow up by admitting your mistakes ...
By deleting a post you remain who you are ...
Dear Paolo, if up to now I have not answered you and have proceeded to delete your comments. it was just not to lower myself to your level of boorishness and rudeness, but since you don't understand it, alas I'll have to. I'm not a nerd or a geek but I'm great at deleting posts from users who, like you, spew crap on the blog by hiding behind a keyboard. I must not admit any error, because I remind you that a European ROM is part of the branch of the Global ROMs, so get informed before obsessing over your silly and devoid of logic comments.... Ok Guru and thanks for your insights.
I don't understand why they update the minor devices first and then the “top” of the Redmi series. On my sister's Redmi Note 8 pro, she already has MIUI 12. Now talk about my old and glorious Redmi Note 7.
And I who had switched to a more performing and new Redmi Note 9 Pro, believing to have the updates first ... and instead.
Maybe they will want to test it well on smaller models to avoid trouble (as they say it has and many too)
