Here's what Android 12 will look like: first screenshots show the OS by Google

We have long talked about the interesting features that Android 12 will bring on our devices. We have seen how will block sideloading of applications outside the Play Store, but also how it will give the possibility to color single applications. In short, it will be an operating system made with all the trappings and which will focus on customization. This is a positive thing for devices that know nothing about customization, such as OnePlus. But what will the OS in question look like? Today, thanks to XDA, we discover the first screenshots that show the design of the interface, or rather, of the operating system.

Android 12 will look like this: XDA releases the first screenshots of the green robot's operating system and shows how the OS will be lighter and more "round"

The developer preview of Android 12 Expected to be released this week or next, an initial beta of Google's new developer operating system. It should be noted immediately that these screenshot they have been obtained from a reliable source, but their authenticity has yet to be established. Whereas the images appeared on the eve of the release of Android 12 Developer Preview, it is logical to assume that they demonstrate the interface of this particular version of the operating system.

There seem to be some changes coming even in the shadow of notifications, with the number of buttons on the quick panel seemingly reduced to just four. Buttons can also change shape when activated, as noted by thecircular WiFi switch darkened next to the brighter switches and "squircle" (photo below). As for notifications, they turn out to be more rounded and the toggle to expand is now highlighted to better separate them from the rest of the notification. The date and time have changed position.

Reportedly, this is what Google intends to present to OEMs to prepare them for upcoming changes to the operating system. Much of this may change, however, and some of the features may disappear along the way.
