Asus will launch its next smartphone from the Republic of Gamers range in July. The gaming phone was mentioned by the company in a press release a few days ago. Soon after, a device said to be the Asus ROG Phone III was seen on the Geekbench benchmark platform.
Asus ROG Phone III caught on the EEC site, imminent arrival?
Well, today comes a further update on the terminal. Specifically, we now have a clear confirmation that the ROG Phone III is very close to launch. How do we know this? The new certification on the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) website is a good starting point.
The newly certified device would in fact be the next gaming phone of the technological giant and would arrive with model number ZS661KS - quite similar to the ZS600KL of the first smartphone of the ROG series and to the ZS660KL, that is the second generation.
As for the specifications, unfortunately we do not have any confirmed, but on the benchmark we had noticed the presence of a Snapdragon 865 as a processor, combined with 8 GB of RAM and Android 10 as an operating system, so nothing surprising.
The specifications that we expect to see include a higher screen refresh rate than the ROG Phone II, probably 144Hz, faster charging than the previous 30 W and a screen with QHD + resolution. In addition, the previous version had experienced problems with the fingerprint sensor, it is hoped that Asus will solve these problems with the third generation.
