It is now our habit to publish news related to smartphone display, sound and camera tests done DxOMark. The portal has been and is one of the best indicators (or rather, the most famous) regarding the performance of mobile devices. However, many have criticized the way they do it. Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, long ago opposed the way of doing her: in fact, without "invitation", DxOMark purchase the model 12S Ultra and tested it by giving it only 5th place. Now companies are opposed.
Many companies including Xiaomi continue to oppose DxOMark smartphone tests. The company's CEO explains why
Interestingly, Xiaomi did not send the Xiaomi 12S Ultra for testing, but DxOMark bought the smartphone and tested it anyway. When Huawei reached the top of the chart a few years ago and then released better and better camera devices every year, many manufacturers tried to break into the DxOMark chart and climb as high as possible. But in the past couple of years, the popularity of DxOMark it collapsed, with fewer manufacturers sending their smartphones for testing.

Why are cell phone manufacturers so reluctant to have their smartphones tested in DxOMark? The CEO of DxOMark, Frederic Guichard, gave the simplest and clearest answer to this question in ainterview with Jiemian News. He claimed that today very few smartphones can climb to the top of the DxOMark ranking and even fewer can occupy the first place. And for many, only the first place makes sense when promoting their smartphone in the market.
Consequently, if a company does not produce a device worthy of this record, it is obvious that it does not send it to DxOMark to test it. At this point, however, a question comes to mind: why then do companies not ONLY send the top of the range to DxOMark? A question that certainly will not have an answer but that it is right to ask yourself.
