Fortunately, there have been no known cases so far in which users have been seriously injured, but this is a worrying situation as a brand's reliability passes through here. The last case, also in India, comes from Gurgaon and concerns as usual a Notes redmi 7 Pro. What will happen to this product than from us still enjoys great success?
In India, problems of this kind continue: the Redmi Note 7 Pro have a battery that explodes but the brand does not care much
The most recent case concerns a Notes redmi 7 Pro which, inexplicably, exploded in the Indian city of Gurgaon. Interestingly, since it was not possible to blame the use of unofficial accessories, i Xiaomi tech support officials tried to blame the user. A story that has an absurdity but that we already know.
According to the Indian user, the (indirect) protagonist of the incident that responds to the name of Vikesh Kumar, the employees of the Xiaomi assistance center tried to blame him for the accident, proposing that it pay 50% of the smartphone's commercial value to receive a new one. Let's stop for a moment: is it possible that, after numerous cases of the kind where the same device has always encountered the same problem, it is the owner who has to pay? Even if it was not possible to ascertain that the device was used with unofficial accessories, much of the fault should not fall on the user but on the company itself.
But let's go on. Interestingly, in the support report provided to Kumar, there is no mention of the battery explosion, as it is said only that the accident was caused by "power failure": So basically the problem ofdevice explosion does not exist for technical service.
On the day of the accident, the smartphone had about 90% of the battery charge when it arrived at work. Kumar claims to have heard the smartphone temperature rise considerably and quick, making him take the device out of his backpack pocket. At that moment he immediately noticed that smoke was coming from the back of the device and threw the backpack away from him to avoid damage to his person. Poor Kumar also said that the blaze resulting from the Redmi Note 7 Pro was so large that it could not turn it off even with a fire extinguisher.
As for the other times, this matter is also incredible. Fortunately, it has never happened (or at least we are not aware of it) that a Xiaomi device exploded in this way.
