POCO Pad certified on FCC: everything we know

The brand POCO, known for its excellent value for money smartphones, is about to enter the tablet market with its first device called POCO Pav. Recently, the POCO Pad has indeed been spotted in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database, suggesting an imminent launch on the international market.

Il POCO Pad, with the model number 2405CPCFBG, seems to promise notable technical features. According to FCC certification, the tablet will be equipped with HyperOS 1.0 and will support Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax connectivity, guaranteeing users fast and stable navigation.

An interesting detail that emerged from the certification is the use of33W charging adapter from Xiaomi, model MDY-12-EA, for testing. This suggests that the POCO Pad could offer fast charging, something increasingly sought after by modern consumers.

The similarity between the POCO Pad and the Redmi Pad Pro, already launched in China, has been confirmed by the same FCC certification. Both devices share the same FCC ID (2AFZZPFDL), indicating that the tablet's POCO it could be a rebrand of the Redmi Pad Pro.

As for the camera specifications, the Camera FV-5 database reveals that the POCO Pad will be equipped with a 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and electronic image stabilization (EIS), as well as a front camera from 8MP with f/2.3 aperture. These features suggest that the tablet will be able to capture images of decent quality for a device in its category.

The Redmi Pad Pro, and presumably the POCO Pad, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and supports up to 8GB of RAM. It features a battery 10,000mAh and support to fast charging from 33W.

The Redmi Pad Pro boasts a 12.1 LCD display and with a 120Hz refresh rate, resolution 2.5K and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Furthermore, it is equipped with a four-speaker system with Dolby Atmos audio, which promises an immersive and high-quality audio experience.

We would like to point out that the FCC certification is an important step towards the global launch of the Pad, which therefore could soon become a reality in our country too.
