It all happened in the afternoon, when the first reports from users arrived. However, the platform team itself has now formalized the down, as we will see in the next few lines.

At the time of writing Chat GPT it does not respond to any command given. Moreover, it is not a problem related to the free plan, since it is also impossible to upgrade to the plus plan. In short, nothing works and if you try to make requests this message comes out:
Difficult to establish the cause of the problem. It is possible that there may be:
- a down of the site due to too much traffic
- an internal malfunction of as yet unknown origin
- a sudden hacker attack
In short, everything is still to be clarified, but the fact remains that many Italian users are unable to use the software. But what to do in this case?

It's not a connection problem, it's not even a situation that can be solved by refreshing the page: ChatGPT doesn't work due to internal problems and the only thing you can do is wait for the platform team to solve the problem.
The situation is therefore in flux: the causes of the problem are not known and consequently we do not know how to act to solve it. In the meantime, reports continue to arrive from all over Italy: on Google the keywords "ChatGPT doesn't work” and “ChatGPT down” are among the most searched at the moment.
This is the first major ChatGPT crash since the software was brought online by OpenAI. We reiterate: poco you can do but wait for the situation to be resolved.
