Photo comparison: Xiaomi Mi 10 vs Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Who wins?

The number 10 for Xiaomi is doing well: thanks to the two devices that bear this figure in the name, the brand has collected a huge amount of money. In particular, Xiaomi Mi 10 it literally snapped up as the first stock in China ended in just 55 seconds after its launch. To unite Xiaomi Mi 10 e Xiaomi Mi Note 10 there is the main photographic sensor: let's talk about the same Samsung HMX from 108 megapixel. Many of you may be wondering: is it really the same in both devices? The answer is simple: no, the yield is really different. Let's see together in this comparison how does Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi Note 10 differ from the photographic point of view.

In a photographic comparison between Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi Note 10, which is the best?

The photos we are going to show you come from Weibo, the well-known Chinese social network where all bloggers post their thoughts and experiences. One of these impressed us as it made a beautiful comparison between the two devices in question: obviously as regards the device of the Note series, in China it has another name or Xiaomi CC9 Pro: only the name changes but the substance is the same.

Before showing you the pictures, let's see some differences from the hardware point of view:

Xiaomi Mi 10:

  • Main: 108 megapixels, optical stabilization, 7P lenses
  • Wide angle: 13 megapixels
  • Third sensor: 12 megapixels
  • Macro: 2 megapixels

Xiaomi Mi Note 10:

  • Main: 108 megapixels, optical stabilization, 8P lenses
  • Wide angle: 20 megapixels
  • Third sensor: 12 megapixels
  • Super tele: 5 megapixels
  • Macro sensor: 2 megapixels

Ultimately the differences are really minimal but they are present. Let's see in concrete terms what these variations lead to.

In these first pairs of photographs we can see the shots in the sunlight. In the column of left we find the shots of CC9 Pro (aka Mi Note 10) while in the column of right the shots of Xiaomi Mi 10. It is clear how the camera of the first device makes the colors a little more "watercolor"And do not focus excellently the smaller silhouettes, like the leaves in the last pair of photographs. In addition, the colors, in addition to being as we have just defined them, seem a little more off on the Mi Note 10 rather than on the Mi 10: we can see it not only from the color of the leaves, but also from the blue of the sky (first and third pair above all).

Definitely Xiaomi Mi 10 is better than Mi Note 10 from a photographic point of view. Now we can say it too and not just DxOMark.

Unfortunately for the moment we do not have photographs at night: as soon as we find something we will not fail to update the article. So if you are interested enter your email in the space below.

In truth, the DxOMark site has established that the Mi 10 Pro (with 124 points) is superior to the CC9 Pro Premium (which would be the Mi Note 10 with 121 points). There is a concrete difference between the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro. This article is a bit confusing….

as they have already pointed out on DxOMark there is no trace of reviews of the MI 10, but only of the MI10 PRO.

then the comparison seems to me a bit limited, for example the Mi Note 10 has optical zoom that MI 10 does not have….

ATTENTION…. the article says: Now we are able to say it too and not only DxOMark. The DxOMark site does not review the Mi 10 but the Mi 10 Pro, defining it as superior to the Mi Note 10. CMQ is right to have a comparison not to argue, good job.
