The lesser known Chinese smartphone brand that is mainly dedicated to the entry level range, Coolpad, would have just launched a new device in the mother country. The new terminal is called Coolpad Grand View 50s and the telephone provider China Telecom confirmed it on its official website.

As for the specifications of the new Coolpad Grand View 50s, the smartphone uses one 6,517-inch waterdrop notch screen with a resolution of 720*1600. The edges on both sides are relatively thin and the overall look isn't bad.
In terms of performance, the Coolpad Grand View 50s features a MediaTek Dimension 700 5G processor. This chip uses a 7nm manufacturing process, with an eight-core CPU architecture and a Mali-G57 GPU; it is an entry level chip.
As for the photographic sector, the new phone has a dual rear camera, which has been updated compared to the previous View 40s, with a main camera from 13 megapixel and an 8-megapixel auxiliary camera.
The new smartphone comes with a built-in battery which has a capacity of 4500 mAh, which can meet the needs of daily use. Additionally, the phone also retains a 3,5mm headphone jack, allowing users to continue using traditional headphones.
Finally, in terms of price, the new Coolpad Grand View 50s in the version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space will be sold in China at a price of 1099 yuan (140 euros). The version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space will be priced at 1299 yuan (170 euros); then we have the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space priced at 1599 yuan (208 euros) and lastly the more expensive version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space priced at 1899 yuan, on 250 euros at the current exchange rate.
