By now we have learned about the DJI Avata FPV drone. The specs and design weren't a secret in early August and today the Chinese company has it announced officially. The drone is characterized by tiny dimensions (for width and length as much as a smartphone) but also for useful performance. Indeed, its speed it reaches almost 100 km / h. The propellers of the DJI Avata drone they are protected from contact with surrounding objects, so the quadcopter can be used safely too al closed. Among other features of the device, the manufacturer highlights the possibility of transmit video at a distance of up to 10 kilometers. DJI Avata is equipped with a 48 megapixel (1 / 1.7 ″, f / 2.8, 155 ° field of view).
It is capable of recording videos 4K is 60 fps and 2.7K video up to 120 fps. The memory of 20 GB is sufficient for about 30 minutes of video recording in the highest quality, it is also possible to install microSD up to 256 GB. The battery is designed for 18 minutes of operation of the quadcopter: not the best, but given the size we make it fit.
Users can control the drone using different controllers: DJI Goggles 2, FPV Remote Controller 2 and FPV Goggles V2. In the minimum configuration, equip only three additional sets of propellers, a screwdriver, a Type-C cable, a power supply and a battery - in this case, it will cost 579 €. The other two bundles for 1.159 € e 1.439 € will be supplied with DJI Avata FPV Remote Controller 2 and DJI Goggles 2 respectively.
