Yesterday was special: two action cameras from two different companies debuted on the global market. The first is there GoPro Hero 11 Black of which we have spoken in abundance, while the second is the DJI OsmoAction 3. The company in question produces not only drones, of which the last Avatar brought several improvements, but also action cameras such as the Osmo series. So let's go and see them technical complete and the price.
Together with GoPro Hero 11 Black, the DJI Osmo Action 3 was also released: the cam of the homonymous company that challenges the GoPro homologation.
DJI introduced a new Osmo Action 3 action camera. Despite the apparent resemblance to competitors, it has acquired some original features. For example, the model is oriented to the click vertical and is equipped with a large sensor and boasts several other features. The third-generation camera is significantly different from its predecessor: it has returned to its dclassic design with a large lens and two screens (the main one is touch).
The cam can be attached to a tripod both in horizontal and vertical orientation: the latter is necessary to record vertical videos disseminated on social networks. The sensor with an optical format of 1 / 1.7 " is responsible for the quality of the footage. The camera can record video 4K up to 120 fps and a viewing angle of 155 °. The proprietary function HorizonSteady, in combination with stabilization technology rocksteady 3.0not only softens the effects of flickering but also automatically aligns the horizon in the frame.
As you would expect from a modern action camera, it is also protected from water: it can withstand submersion up to one depth of 16 meters. In addition, according to the manufacturer, the camera is able to survive a fall on a hard surface from a height of one and a half meters. DJI Osmo Action 3 equips a 1770 mAh with a declared autonomy of up to 160 minutes of video recording. Fast charging technology allows you to fully restore energy in 50 minutes and up to 80% in 18 minutes.
The DJI Osmo Action 3 is available in two configurations:
- Osmo Action 3 Combo Standard a 359 € includes mounting buckle and two pads to secure the camera to a flat surface.
- Osmo Action Combo Adventure a 459 € includes extra support e two additional batteries with a case to carry them.
