After presenting the 90 Minutes Smart Shoes, Xiaomi expands its range of running and fitness shoes with a more trendy but always smart version, the Home Sports Shoes.
The sneakers will be launched at the beginning of the We Fans Festival the next 6 April and will have a 249yuan cost.
The Home Sports Shoes are available in 3 colors for the men's version - black, blue, gray, with sizes from 39 to 46 and other 3 colors for women's version: black, white, turquoise, with numbers starting from 36 up at the 39.
The smart features of these sneakers are enabled by the internal chip equipped with a six-axis sensor and powered by a CR2032 button battery, inserted in a protection resistant to water and dust. The chip has a particularity: just shake it to associate it with the mobile phone at the time of the first connection. Obviously through the app we can control both in real time and in a second time the data on our movement, such as the daily number of steps, the distance traveled, consumption and also the way we support the foot on the ground, to avoid possible limb injuries.
Here are some details of the new Xiaomi shoes: note the flexible plastic structure "hidden" by the outer fabric - extremely elastic and mesh - to reduce the possibility of foot distortion during movement, as well as the high visibility reflective element and the Mijia logo positioned on the heel.
Sneakers are remarkably lightweight thanks to the reduced thickness of less than 2mm, while the very soft seams give a very comfortable fit that fits perfectly to any type of foot, almost as if we were wearing a pair of socks.
The parts of the ankle and heel are externally coated with a very soft layer of highly elastic SBR (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) mixed with velvet, which is effective at stabilizing shoes that have better adherence to the foot. On the inside, instead, a soft and thick very breathable sponge insole allows the further comfort of the shoe during sporting activities or simple walking.
Always in the name of comfort is the new cross groove system that characterizes the outer sole that allows freer movement, a wider and more flexible curve of the forefoot. But not only: between the outer and inner layer there is an EVA insole, responsible for an increased sensitivity of the foot to the ground, while the EVA sole ensures better adherence to the ground and protection from wear, so as to have a pair of shoes that are safe and suitable for any type of movement we are carrying out.
