Google Bard: ChatGPT's rival lands in Italy

Google has finally launched in Italy its chatbot google bard, a direct rival of ChatGPT. Based on the language model PaLM2, Bard is now available for all European users, offering a unique and engaging chat experience. Recall that the news comes like a bolt from the blue having seen it Europe's stop at the chatbot for reasons related to privacy and data sharing. But let's see what it does and how it works.

The Google Bard chatbot is now available for AI enthusiasts in Italy

Bard was initially released for testers in February and had early access in March in the US and UK. In May, during the Google I/O event, Bard was made available to 180 countries worldwide, with the exception of Europe. The delay in the European launch is due to the need to comply with all the regulations of the GDPR, a process that took time.

Unlike Bing Chat, Bard it is not directly integrated into Google Search, but has its own site, accessible from browsers on PCs and mobile devices. Bard can access the Internet and, being a Google product, is more integrated with Google services.
