Apparently, before the Pixel 6, will debut Google Pixel 5a. Perhaps we expected it considering the company's history. Last year the confusion with the release of smartphones was not small: Google first launched the Pixel 4, then the Pixel 5 and only later the Pixel 4a 5G. Distinctive traits? They are all very very similar and this new device just shown by OnLeaks is no exception. Unfortunately the Mountain View company he is not doing much in terms of design for his smartphones ... but having said that let's see how it will be.

According to what was revealed on the Voice site by the well-known Steve Hemmerstoffer, former owner of Slashleaks, Google Pixel 5a should be what we see in the photos below. Unfortunately, if the design is confirmed, it will appear identical identical to the previous model. The Pixel 5a will reportedly come equipped with a 6.2 ″ flat FHD + OLED display with a single selfie camera, similar to 4a 5G. On the back there is a module with double camera, LED flash and sensor PDAF, all housed in a square "patch".
There is also a fingerprint sensor, headphone jack from 3.5 mm, stereo speakers and a plastic frame. According to the information, the Pixel 5a will be slightly taller and thicker than the 4a 5G, although not that wide.
Unfortunately no information is available about the processor but if Google decides to keep the same line as now, we will easily find a Snapdragon 7 series. Rumors agree that it will be one Snapdragon 775G. We do not know when the device will debut but we assume that the right period is this summer, probably before the Pixel 6. Many companies have shifted their launches this year, so Google may be doing the same.
