Google Pixel turns into an underwater camera: the new Pixel Drops has brought numerous features, including the one that allows you to take pictures under water
Google Pixel received a lot of news today. First, there is a new integration for the app Camera, which allows you to use your smartphone underwater. Used in conjunction with a underwater housing for smartphones, Pixel devices can now offer users access to features like Night Sight, Portrait Mode and Google image processing, all under water. The so-called Pixel Drops also brought users the ability to share your recordings as links, which can be accessed on any device. Not only can you access the audio file anywhere, but you can also view and search for them transcripts of the recording in the languages that support them, namely English (for now). Google is also launching Smart Compose as part of the Gboard app, which works similar to how it works on Gmail, except that it can now be used on several apps. While typing, the phone can suggest words to complete the sentence or even a conversation starter. The feature is only available in English and only in the United States for the time being.
Finally, the update includes some new wallpapers, designed by a Spanish duo called Cachetejack and focused on the celebration of “International Women's Day” on March 8th.
