After the revelation ofHonor Magic V Purse at the IFA in Berlin, it seems that the panorama of the Chinese company's future foldable devices is well outlined. Nonetheless, the long-awaited launch of theHonor Magic 6 Pro should be set for the next few months, and according to sources close to the industry, the device could bring with it a feature inspired by Apple's iPhones. That is, the Dynamic Islands also present in the iPhone 14. But are things really like this?
Honor Magic 6 Pro as iPhone 14? Not exactly…
The famous leaker Digital Chat Station has in fact revealed that the device in question could present a sort of Dynamic Island, as an alternative to the usual punch-hole front camera that we have already observed on the Honor Magic 5 Pro. In other words, it seems that the Chinese manufacturer is looking to Apple's iPhone 14 for inspiration for its next flagship model.
According to information from Digital Chat Station, this central element on the display of the Honor Magic 6 Pro will house the 3D facial scanning system and two front cameras (unlike the single lens present on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max).
At the moment, however, we do not have any further details regarding the hardware of Honor's next flagship model.
However, much information has not yet been leaked
Digital Chat Station itself added that this technology will be managed by the operating system, presumably the MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14. This suggests that the design of the front camera area could work in a similar way to that of the iPhone 14 Pro, showing notifications and widgets while using your device.
As it stands, a lot of information about the Honor Magic 6 Pro remains shrouded in secrecy. The device is expected to be released in 2023 in China and early 2024 internationally, but its full spec sheet still remains a mystery. So, all that remains is to wait for the next few months.
