Honor, the well-known Chinese smartphone brand, recently unveiled its new notebook series MagicBook, equipped with the powerful AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor. This series includes two models, one 14-inch and one 16-inch, offering high performance, elegant design and optimized battery life.

Il AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor is the flagship of the Ryzen 7000 series, using a new 4nm process technology and Zen4 architecture. This processor has 8 cores and 16 threads and can reach a maximum clock frequency of 5,1GHz, ensuring outstanding processing speed. Furthermore, the processor integrates a AMD Radeon 780M graphics card, which has a power of 40W (14-inch) and 45W (16-inch), which can support games and graphics-intensive applications.
The MagicBook X Pro series also stands out for its 16GB LPDDR5x dual channel memory 6400 Mhz, which offers higher bandwidth and lower power consumption than the previous generation. In addition, notebooks have two PCIe SSD slots, which allow users to expand the storage capacity up to 1TB, to store more files and data.
Appearance-wise, the MagicBook X Pro series follows the simple design style of the Honor family. Notebooks have a thin and light metal body, with R7 rounded corners that make them smooth and delicate. The color is an elegant dark grey, which expresses sobriety and professionalism.
Notebooks come with 14-inch and 16-inch high-resolution IPS matte screens (1920×1200), with a screen ratio of 16:10. This format offers a larger viewing area than the traditional 16:9, making reading and browsing more comfortable. The screens also have 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, a peak brightness of 300 nits, and a wide viewing angle. In addition, the screens have been certified by Rheinland for low blue light and flicker-free eye protection, and feature Honor's natural light eye protection technology.
Another strong point of the MagicBook X Pro series is its battery life. The notebooks are equipped with a 60Wh high capacity battery (face value), which allows them to play local videos in Full HD for 15 hours, browse the web for 10 hours or work on documents for 10,5 hours. In addition, the notebooks support OS Turbo technology, which optimizes system-level performance and power consumption based on the usage scenario. This technology intelligently recognizes the applications opened by the user and sends instructions to the operating system and the underlying chip, minimizing the overall power consumption of the application scenario.
As for charging, the MagicBook X Pro series uses 65W USB-C charger, which are small and easy to carry. The charging cable can also be used as a data cable on its own, supporting charging of Honor notebooks as well as tablets and mobile phones. With just 15 minutes of charging, notebooks can get 30% battery.
Finally, the MagicBook X Pro series offers a variety of interfaces to meet different user needs. Notebooks have 1 USB 4 interface, 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 interfaces, 1 HDMI interface e 1 x 3,5mm headphone port. These interfaces allow you to connect mice, keyboards, monitors, projectors and other devices with ease.
The two models of the 14-inch and 16-inch MagicBook X Pro series have a price of 4199 yuan (530 euros) and 4399 yuan (555 euros) respectively, and will be available on the Chinese market from August 15th. Honor also announced that the MagicBook X Pro series will be launched in other global markets in the future, to bring a new intelligent notebook experience to consumers around the world.
