A few months ago a leaker revealed that Honor has restructured its product line, with the Honor X series becoming a mid-range line. The first smartphone in the series was the Honor X20 SE with Dimensity 700 with a starting price of less than 250 euros in China.

Well, now a more performing smartphone with the name of Honor X20 should be launched in the Asian country. According to the Chinese leakster Bald Panda on the social Weibo the upcoming Honor X20 will be powered by the Dimensity 900 chipset. Considering that the source has a good track record regarding Honor and Huawei-related leaks, it should be somewhat accurate as a leak.
Recall that the Dimensity 900 is a less powerful processor than the Dimensity 1200, but it is still a chipset with a 6 nm manufacturing process. The chipset announced in May comes with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2,4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2,0 GHz. It also has a Mali G68 MC4 GPU.
Honor already has a smartphone powered by the Dimensity 900 in the form of the Honor 50 SE. We can expect the two devices to differ when it comes to design, camera, and possibly even battery capacity and fast charging technology.
