Design and specifications of the upcoming Honor X50 Pro 5G have been leaked

Honor, the well-known Chinese smartphone brand, is about to launch its new high-end model, theHonor X50 Pro 5G. The new top of the range from Huawei's sub brand should offer excellent performance and an attractive design, as shown by an official photo that appeared on the social network Weibo, the Chinese Twitter.

Honor X50 Pro 5G

The Honor X50 Pro 5G comes with a metal and glass body, available in two colors: green and black. Since it is from the series Honor X50, the Pro model also seems to carry the same design language with a circular camera module. However, the Honor X50 is available in four color options: orange, elegant black, white and blue.

The photo module on the back houses at least two sensors and an LED flash. According to rumors, the main camera would have a resolution of 100 megapixels and it would be capable of recording videos in 4K.

Il The device's display would be a 6,78-inch curved AMOLED panel, with a resolution of 1,5K (2652 x 1200 pixels) and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel would also integrate the fingerprint sensor, as suggested by the power button positioned on the right side of the phone.

Honor X50 Pro 5G

What moves the Honor X50 Pro 5G would be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 processor+ Gen1, an enhanced version of the already performing Snapdragon 8 Gen1. It would be an octa-core chip with a maximum frequency of 2,2 GHz, supported by an Adreno 710 GPU and 8 GB of RAM. The internal memory would be 256 GB, expandable via microSD.

While the top of the range battery would be powered by a battery 5800 mAh, with support to the quick charging a 35 W. The phone would also feature 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB Type-C connectivity. The operating system would be Android 13, customized with the Magic UI 7.1 interface.

The X50 Pro 5G it should be officially presented in January, along with the Honor Magic 6 series. Pricing and availability have not yet been revealed, but we expect this to be a high-end product, capable of competing with the best smartphones on the market
