This morning Honor announced the release of a new phone on Weibo (China's Twitter), it's the Honor X50i, a medium-low range smartphone that focuses heavily on design.
Honor X50i is the new mid-range with a truly premium design
In fact, the main feature of this device is its slim and elegant appearance, as well as large memory and large storage space, and even a standard configuration of 256GB. All with a starting price of 1499 yuan, about 200 euros at the current exchange rate.
At the moment, Honor's official website in China has not yet revealed all the specifications of the device, but the image released today shows us that the Honor X50i adopts a flat screen design and 90-degree edges.
The front is equipped with one screen from 6,7 inches with a punch-hole in the top center for the front camera, an ultra-narrow bezel, and a screen-to-body ratio reaching 93,6%. The refresh rate is 90Hz.
In terms of storage space, the standard configuration is 256GB, along with 8GB or 12GB of RAM memory. It also supports memory expansion technology which makes 12GB can be used as 19GB. Thus, it has a greater ability to keep apps open in the background and is not easy to slow down. Also in this regard, the smartphone is equipped with the "anti-aging" technology developed by Honor, which should allow the smartphone to run with maximum fluidity for at least 36 months.
For photos, the device comes with one 100MP rear primary camera, while in front we find an 8MP lens.
Finally, the Honor X50i integrates a battery 4500mAh and supports a 35W fast charging. Not among the most powerful but more than enough for its price range.
As for prices, the Honor X50i in the version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory will be sold in China at the price of 1499 yuan (200 euros), while the one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory will be sold at the price of 1699 yuan (225 euros). In addition, there will be four color options: Magic Night Black, Mo Yuqing, Willow Wind and Xinghuayu. The new phone will be officially released on April 25th.
