Since its launch on the market, the Xiaomi Mi 5 has been subject to criticism and general discontent, not so much for the product itself which on the contrary has been well received by users, as for the various problems with the production of the same that limited not poco the sales of the new Xiaomi flagship. Furthermore, the discontent of some users has generated an incorrect wording according to which the company was operating incorrectly (deliberately limiting the smartphone stocks) to further increase the hype for its Xiaomi Mi 5. However, this rumor unfounded was soon answered and, thanks to the analyst of IHS tecnology Kevin Wang, we came to the conclusion that the low availability of the smartphone was due to production problems (back cover in 3D Ceramics and CPU availability) | Xiaomi is not deliberately limiting the availability of Mi 5 |. In addition to this, to heal this situation of general discontent that was created by these underlying problems, Xiaomi has encouraged the production of the Mi 5 even more (the credit also belongs to Inventec) which now counts 1 million of units produced monthly | Inventec will increase the production of Xiaomi Mi 5 |.
Now, after three long months of waiting, the situation seems to have finally normalized, to the point that very soon the open sales Xiaomi Mi 5. Today, in fact, the company itself has declared that since 1 June the Xiaomi Mi 5 will be officially sold to the public without any constraints related to available stocks. Not only that, it has also been said that there will be many units available, so no one will be left empty-handed, and that both the standard and the Pro variants will be proposed.
However, although it had previously been said that the production of the back cover in 3D Ceramica had found a breakthrough, it will not be available for mass sale, so it will only be available only through flash sales.
