In previous months, Vivo's sub-brand, iQOO launched a mid-range called the iQOO Z1. The smartphone adopted a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ as processor and super-fast 44 W recharge. Well, apparently the cheaper version nicknamed iQOO Z1x will also arrive shortly.
iQOO Z1x: Specifications and first HD render leaked
Rumors in the past weeks had already anticipated that the smartphone would arrive with a Snapdragon 765G as a chipset assisted by a 5.000 mAh battery. Today, two Chinese leaksters have revealed further details on the Weibo social network.
According to them, the iQOO Z1x will adopt an LCD display from 6,57 inches with a refresh rate of 120Hz, while fast charging will be reduced to 33W.
One of the leaksters also revealed that the main camera will have a 48 MP sensor. But the most important factor for a gaming phone is the amount of memory and here the leakster confirms the presence of 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory (although it has not confirmed if it will be DDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 memory). So it is more likely that we will find the cheapest and slightly slower DDR4X and UFS 2.1 to keep prices low.
As we talk about pricing, the base iQOO Z1 launched at a starting price of 2198 Yuan (€ 275), with the 8/128 GB version costing 2498 Yuan (€ 320). To become an interesting alternative, the iQOO Z1x should therefore cost less than 2000 Yuan, or about 250 euros at the current exchange rate.
