By now the smartphone market is rather saturated and in a certain sense also flat from an innovative point of view, therefore the expansion of the various OEMs must inevitably pass to other sectors. OPPO knows it well, which for some time has been concentrating its strengths and experiences in creating an ecosystem that currently boasts products such as TWS headphones, smartwatches, VR viewers but a fundamental piece is missing from the appeal that could soon see the definitive presentation.
OPPO's first smart TV will arrive in October
We are talking about OPPO's first smart TV, which should debut in 55 and 65 inch cuts, at least according to recent certifications published on the net. But the most important thing is that during the OPPO Developer Conference 2020 event, which took place in China, the company revealed the release period of its first smart TV. The launch is therefore set in October and among other things, OPPO's multimedia product should boast its own proprietary software, specifically designed to meet the multimedia needs of users.
Everything is still shrouded in mystery but the first rumors tell us about technical specifications such as the presence of a 4K display and MEMC technology, therefore we should expect non-economic solutions, but as is happening for smartphones it is not certain that the Asian brand does not surprise with the release of an entry level version.
