Today the Chinese brand has launched new glasses for Augmented Reality under the name of Lenovo Glasses T1 AR.
Lenovo Glasses T1 AR with official micro-OLED technology: a pocket-sized 81 ″ TV
The T1 AR Glasses are equipped with the popular virtual reality display technology: micro-OLED. In particular they are equipped with two superior micro-OLED screens developed by BOE, this screen is more similar to the AMOLED screen widely used in smartphones. The display achieves a resolution of 1920x1080 on a micro screen that is less than 1/10 the size of a phone's screen.
The smart glasses use a free-form lens system developed by Lenovo Group in cooperation with the Beijing Ned Ltd. company. In use, the glasses provide the visual effect of a super-sized TV of about 108 inches at about 4 meters of distance.
The display content is not at all visible from the outside of the glasses which also have a much higher optical conversion efficiency than others, thus avoiding excessive power consumption and heat generation problems of the device.
The glasses are TÜV certified low blue light and strobe-free and feature built-in hi-fi speakers, replaceable nose clips and adjustable temples and support custom lenses.
Finally, the Lenovo Glasses T1 AT support connecting to Windows, Android and MacOS devices via a full USB-C port, as well as iOS devices via a dedicated HDMI converter from Lenovo and an Apple Lightning Digital AV adapter.
The price for Italy of AR glasses is not yet known.
