Lenovo ThinkPhone unveiled thanks to official renderings (leak)

Well, today the ThinkPhone was revealed in an official render showing a smartphone with triple rear cameras housed within a curved rear panel. The device also has a flat display with a centered punch-hole front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The appearance of the latter suggests that the ThinkPhone has an AMOLED or OLED display, rather than IPS. The display is said to have a 1080p resolution and will be joined by up to 12GB of RAM, as well as a 50MP primary, 13MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth and 16MP front camera.

From what we know, Lenovo is expected to introduce the ThinkPhone in 2023. It remains to be seen in which markets the device will be available, although it is likely to be offered in a number of countries given Lenovo's global presence. If it actually launches under the ThinkPad brand, it will be interesting to see how the device is received by consumers and whether it can compete with other smartphones on the market.
