You will surely remember the story we published a few days ago,abandonment of MIUI project by Mark Hedley, the founder of MIUI MultiLanguage (miuiandroid.com).
Mark returns to be heard through his Google+ profile to announce the start of a new one OpenSource project to create a new Android ROM and makes an appeal to anyone with the necessary skills and wants to make a difference in the panorama of the "ROM Development Community" to come forward.
The last sentence "The keyword will be bug resolution, stability and listening to users"It seems to be a joke to Xiaomi who has recently been accused (not always rightly) of losing that attention in the past reserved to the needs of its users and that they made it famous.
Among the comments we read some other words of his: "I want to create a ROM that can rival MIUI from all points of view ... better support and no new features at the expense of stability"
It is therefore one open challenge against MIUI and Xiaomi towards which Mark has a great resentment for how it has been dealt with in the last few days, to a break with the team he himself had been the founder. Of course it is an ambitious project but who if not he has the skills and above all the knowledge to organize a team up to date?
