MediaTek, the Taiwanese chip maker, is hard at work on the launch of its next high-end 5G processor, the Dimensity 9300. According to leakster Digital Chat Station, the chip will debut in November and will be mounted for the first time on the vivo X100 series, carrying what the Chinese call the “King of Dimensity”.

The Dimension 9300 will be a very powerful and innovative chip, which adopts eight-core design with four Cortex-X4 super cores and four Cortex-A720 cores large. This design should challenge Apple in terms of performance and compete head-on with the A17 bionic chip, which equips the iPhone 13.

The GPU also uses a new rendering pipeline and technology”Deferred vertex shading” DVS, which can improve resource utilization and reduce energy consumption.
