The results of the next test have appeared on the net MediaTek Dimensity 9200 in the AnTuTu benchmark: the chipset managed to outperform Dimensity 9000+, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Apple A16 Bionic. In the Manhattan 3.0 and Manhattan 3.1 tests it was tested the graphic part of the new processor: the results were respectively 328 and 228 fps. For comparison, the A16 Bionic performed worse in the same tests, showing results at 280 and 200 fps. Dimensity 9000+ managed to achieve frame rates of 220 and 160 fps, while Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 achieved 281 and 188 fps.
Previously, a Digital Chat Station insider revealed some of the features of the Dimensity 9200, indicating that its maximum clock speed is 3,05 GHz. The high-performance cores are clocked at 2,85 GHz while the efficient cores run at 2,0 GHz. The graphics, on the other hand, are provided by Mali-G715. The cumulative AnTuTu score of the Dimensity 9200's 1.266.102 was the highest of any chip. However, it will be possible to be sure of the high performance of the mobile processor when it appears in smartphones.
In fact, the tests are only representative and indicative only. It remains to be seen if in everyday use this will be the true performance of the SoCs.
