Just yesterday we saw Meizu 18 appear for the first time, albeit in unofficial guise. E-commerce Pinduoduo has included it among the smartphones out for February 17, but we do not know if this will correspond to the truth. Although the specifications (unofficial) have been revealed in advance some time ago, we can only refer to data from certifications for confirmation. The latest news regarding these smartphones comes from China, and in particular from CCC certification. Let's go see the details.
No 100W recharge for Meizu 18 Pro, and 55W for the standard: we reach a maximum of 40W at least according to the certifications just released
If the data that has just been revealed are confirmed, then it means that the specifications we have seen long ago are not reliable. But that said, let's see what CCC certification tells us. On the recommendation of MEIZU Fans Global, we learned of the certification of two new products which, without a doubt, are Meizu 18 and 18 Pro. In fact, it couldn't be otherwise considering that these are the only devices that the brand has in its catalog.
As we can see there are two products:
- M181Q with supported charging 12 V / 3 A maximum 36W
- M191Q with supported charging 20 V / 2 A maximum 40W
As we can see these numbers are far from the 55 and 100W we have seen previously, but far from low. 36 and 40W of power are not few and could make the device very palatable. However, something may be missing. Like colleagues from REAM Meizu they point out, there is no trace of the magazine. A choice that could make you turn up your nose but that meets much more noble needs: to save the planet from overproduction of plastics.
For the other specifications, they could be the following at least until denied:
