It's only been a couple of weeks since Meizu announced its new Meizu Pro 5. The company's CEO and other executives revealed some information about the new product, such as the future packaging.
The latest news on this device is provided directly by the vice president, Li Nan, which revealed some goodies about the battery life of this upcoming terminal. Battery life has always been one of the major factors influencing the consumer's purchase and it seems that fans will not be disappointed with the new Meizu Pro 5.

Last night, the Meizu VP, posted some screenshots with battery usage statistics on her account Weibo official. We may also notice that these images have been sent directly from the new one Meizu Pro 5. According to the pictures, this new terminal, managed to work for about 16 46 hours minutes until you get about the 4% of battery. We start assuming that the duration of 16 46 hours minutes occurred after a full charge of the device. Another image reveals that the display of the Meizu Pro 5 has about 8 hours of use during this time. This is a pretty impressive figure and could even mean that Pro 5 it comes with a super-performing battery. The most interesting thing is that Li Nan points out that this is not the official version of FlymeOS, so this would mean that with the official version users can expect even longer time thanks to good optimization.
Of course, since these screenshots come directly from the company, it may be a bit exaggerated. There is nothing but waiting for our official test to judge the real performance of the device.
I remind you that the specifications of the Meizu Pro 5 so far known should be the following:
- 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels).
- Samsung Exynos 7420 processor (a variant with the MediaTek Helio X20 also possible).
- 3/4 GB RAM memory.
- 32GB internal memory.
- 21 megapixel rear camera.
Overall, the Meizu Pro 5 it is revealing a fantastic device, at least in terms of specifications. With the FlymeOS 5 and excellent hardware specifications, we expect a better user experience. But according to corridor voices, the phone might cost well above 3000 Yuan (about € 418). So, it will be interesting to see if users are ready to shell out all that money for a Meizu device.
