It has been talked about for a year: the most anticipated smartphone, perhaps much more than the Mi 10, is the Mi Mix 4. The heir of the first Xiaomi concept phone equipped with slider mechanism for the front camera will see its birth by first quarter (perhaps) of 2020. What is certain is that this year will be a very important year for the brand, given that it has a myriad of new products to present in its hat. There is no counting between her and the sub brands associated with her and apparently there will also be news from the point of view of telephony. In particular it seems that the Mi Mix 4 will have a camera under the display. How do we know? From this poster.
Mi Mix 4: this teaser announces the invisible camera under the display
This teaser released a few minutes ago on Weibo, the well-known Chinese social network where it is customary to preview all the most important news, would seem to announce that the Mi Mix 4 will have a camera integrated under the display. The device in question, which perhaps will be released in January (nothing certain, obviously), could mount this new technology even before Oppo.
Maybe it's just a fantasy, but if we see the products presented in the poster, Xiaomi seems to want to tell us this. Starting from the right we note: a Roborock, the brand robot that helps with cleaning at home; one speaker bluetooth; the very last Redmi K30 with the two cameras put under the pill; a I 9T pop-up mechanism for the front camera. On the left a Mi Band (maybe the Mi Band 5who knows); a Redmi with water drop notch and finally a Mix series device. Unlike other devices, this is not represented with any notch or retractable mechanism.
This absence could be symptomatic, on the other hand, of the presence of a sensor hidden under the display. This though it will not be like that of Redmi K30, hidden under a hole, but it will be Invisible and positioned right under the panel. To suggest this is also the writing MIX top right: there is no device in the world with such an inscription (perhaps the Mi 5 approaches us with the inscription Mi on the top left). This writing in the corner in fact, in our opinion, would be a further clue for this type of camera.
This has been talked about for some time hidden sensor, but we have seen with Oppo which ones difficulties meet in integrating it on a smartphone. What do you think about it? Does this sensor exist and will be used on Mi Mix 4 or is there still to wait?
