The MIUI 12 has not yet arrived on a stable basis on all the devices of the Xiaomi / Redmi brand, but despite this there is no shortage of innovations that enrich the graphical interface already presented for a few weeks now. Apparently the development team has worked hard to renew and enrich the functionality of the native Camera app in MIUI, adding for example a series of filters such as Gold Black and now introducing a series of smart watermarks that will compose the photograph taken from our smartphone.
To be clear, the watermarks in the photo are those written that appear at the bottom left of the photo, such as Redmi Note 7 AI Dual Camera or similar, which will now play an important role going to interact intelligently with the scene photographed, that is, depending on the landscape or monument that we are photographing, a sort of description will be added automatically.
MIUI 12 introduces the smart watermark for photos
At the moment the most interesting type of watermark concerns the monuments and buildings characteristic of China but also of Indian culture with 44 models dedicated to this nation, such as the Taj Mahal and plants that represent a large part of the country. We do not know if functionality will also be extended to Europe, especially to Italy, which is undoubtedly the kingdom of cultural tourism with its timeless beauty.
Having said that, this feature could embellish your shots, especially in certain scenarios. And what do you think of it? Do you think this feature is useful or are you among that slice of users who have never inserted the watermark in their shots? Have your say in the comments box below.
It would make sense to put it in the moment in which after the shot you have the possibility to remove it.
