How the "graffiti mode" will work on MIUI 12
In addition to the anticipated modality that allows insert images between lines of text in the Notes app, there will be the possibility to write by hand but using up to seven different ways. In the short clip above we see that once something is written, through a tap on the text sheet (or image) you will be able to access a submenu: a bit like we do when we have to select and copy a text. Here will appear a 'pencil-shaped icon which will allow us to access what we call "graffiti mode". From here you can choose 7 different ways to write, using 7 different tools:
- pencil;
- nib;
- Highlighter;
- fountain pen;
- rubber;
- text editor;
- adding media (photos or videos).
As you can see we can use the finger as if it were a stylus to modify and add details to our documents. Slowly the Notes app will turn into a "Office package made in Xiaomi". As mentioned in the introduction, the feature is in testing phase on the beta of MIUI 12 Right now. We do not know when it will be released, but we will certainly be able to use it in the future. Of course, with such a feature it would be convenient to have a "Pencil me”Like some models of Galaxy, what do you think?

We managed to get our hands on the feature and show you something. We can confirm that an image is effectively created within which we can use the tools given by the system (see above). Once the job is finished, giving "Ok", you will return to the main screen where we will have for example: text + graffiti image + any text.
