Video streaming has now become a service that all smartphone users use. Netflix, first of all platforms, it is equipped with an interface and a video quality not comparable to the others. However, in order to enjoy one superior video quality (in HD, for example), the platform itself needs to “authorize” certain devices. Until now devices such as OnePlus 8 (series) and some Oppo they weren't enabled but now the story has changed.
Netflix has decided to extend the list of smartphones that support HR and HDR for video streaming with OnePlus 8 (series) and some Oppos
More than a dozen Android smartphones have been added to the HD compatibility list on the Netflix support site, almost all of OnePlus e Oppo. There is now little difference between these two companies and it is no coincidence that the smartphones in question have been certified all together. Some of these devices are also quite old to get this support official; it is possible that some of them have had it for a long time and Netflix it is just now adding the certification documentation. The list of newcomers is as follows:
- OnePlus 8
- OnePlus 8T
- OnePlus 8 Pro
- One Plus 9R
- OnePlus North 2
- OPPO A53s 5G
- OPPO A74
- OPPO F19
- OPPO Reno 5A
- OPPO Reno 6
- OPPO Reno 6 5G
- OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G
- OPPO Reno 6Z 5G
For completeness of information we remind you that OnePlus 8, 8T and 8 Pro are also compatible with HDR10 playback in the Netflix app. The new smartphones of the 9 series, on the other hand, have already been compatible for some time.
