You have no gaps: you already saw this title when in December last year we told you about Yoban ionic purifier presented on Youpin, the famous Xiaomi crowdfunding platform. Our beloved brand continues with the production of devices that revolutionize and simplify the life in the house of housewives and not only: this is the case of the new product which takes up a bit the idea of the previous one, but it does changes shape and some function. The new food purifier of one of Xiaomi's sub-brands in fact, unlike the first, manages to also disinfect meat and cereals. Let's see its characteristics.
No more bacteria and pesticides in food thanks to Youpin's new ionic purifier
The name of the sub-brand in question is dunhome, who presented today this new product that manages to free pregnant women, housewives and housewives from a series of annoying steps to clean food in the right way. As usual, the color of the products that form the ecological chain (or ecosystem) of the brand is White and truly minimalist design.
As we see the ionic purifier is formed by two parts: one large (left) and one smaller (right). Is exactly the latter which will be used directly on the dishes to remove the residues of the pesticides which are usually used on fruit and vegetables ... but not only. In fact, the smallest piece is the real sterilizer, which is connected to what we can call a large battery, into which we can put the smallest gadget. But how does it work? Simple. As for the product described last year, it only serves put it together with the dishes in the water And that's it.
The differences with the first product, however, are basically two: first of all this is equipped with three modes that allow you to disinfect different foods. Each mode has a preset time for purification: in just 8 minutes will be able to sterilize all types of cereals, in 12 minutes fruit and vegetables and alone 15 minutes raw meats.
The second difference is clearly the shape: the first was cylindrical while this is square and resembles a kind of heater. As for size and weight we have 267 x 135 x 56 mm, to 1,5 kg and maximum developed power of 70W. The amount of food (fruit, vegetables, cereals or meat) that can be cleaned at one time is 7 liters, following the description in the technical sheet. From the point of view of operation, however, nothing new: once the device is immersed in water, part of the ions produced are organized on the food wall making pesticides and pests harmless for our body; another part of ions combine with chlorine in the water to form hypochlorous acid which destroys bacteria by oxidation. We apologize if the technical terms are wrong or if the processes are not described with extreme precision.
As specified by the manufacturer itself, the device capable of eliminate up to 99.99% of pesticides most common that we can now find on all supermarket foods. Furthermore it is possible to eliminate such bacteria E.coli, Staphylococcus and salmonella. This new ionic food purifier is sold through Youpin for yourself 469 yuan, about € 60 at the current exchange rate. It will go on sale in starting March 14 in China.
