In recent years, Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has expanded its product range by also launching a range of earphones under the OnePlus Buds series. The Buds series already includes a couple of products, but the company now seems ready to launch a new accessory.
OnePlus Buds Pro officially confirmed: arriving on July 22nd
Today OnePlus has in fact officially confirmed that it is working on the Buds Pro and has also revealed that the earphones will be launched together with the OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone. As we already know, the launch of the latter is scheduled for 22 July.
The new headphones will be part of the OnePlus Lab program, meaning the company also offers users the opportunity to try its products. In this case they will be able to try both the Buds Pro earphones and the Nord 2 5G smartphone before the official launch in a couple of weeks.
It is possible to apply to the company until July 17 to be able to test both of these products. Interested applicants are asked for contact information, community username, country, age, current headsets and a few other details.
Sadly, OnePlus hasn't revealed anything related to the upcoming true wireless earbuds aside from confirming that their name will be OnePlus Buds Pro. However, the name indicates it may be similar to the original model with additional premium features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) .
