As we already know, the next OnePlus Nord will be officially presented on July 21st. It seems, however, that before arriving at that day we will discover all the details both from official channels and through leaks.
OnePlus Nord caught on GeekBench, but it's not alone
Today's news concerns indeed a leak. A smartphone with the model name AC2003 would have been caught on the famous GeekBench benchmarking platform.
The test results are in line with what we expected to see with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G on board as a processor; CPU that had already been officially confirmed by the brand. The model name AC2003 had already popped up previously on GeekBench, each time with a motherboard called "lito", a CPU frequency of 1,8 GHz and 12 GB of RAM.
Having said that, another OnePlus smartphone with the model name BE2028 surprised everyone by popping up on GeekBench. Here too we have a motherboard with the name 'lito', but with a different identifier and there is a CPU clock of 1,71 GHz. This drop in frequency seems to cause slightly lower scores in the multi-core test, but similar with in single-core mode. The RAM on this device drops to 6 GB instead.
In any case, this discovery could mean that there is another OnePlus terminal that the brand has managed to keep secret and that we will see presented on July 21 together with the OnePlus Nord.
In addition, several sources suggest that this smartphone could be powered by the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 690, which would make the amount of RAM (6 GB) more sensible given the slightly lower CPU range. Unfortunately, however, it is still a leak, so we will have to wait for the presentation to find out more.
